Happy February!

Hello!
Happy February!
Thank you for all your lovely comments about my flower blanket. I will be adding some flowers to the edges soon. All of the loose ends are sewn in, and it's looking nice and neat.

I tried adding an edge/border, but it didn't work out at all. In fact it looked rubbish!

I'm totally loving the idea on the Attic24 blog. Tin can covers.
Here's my one.

They are sooo quick and easy, not to mention cute. I think I'll be making lots of these.

Has anyone tried Tunisian crochet?
I've been thinking about trying  it for a little while, and this morning I bought my first hook.
Here's my first attempt.

It seems very odd to be working crochet and keeping the loops on the hook.
I'm enjoying it though!

  Till next time!

  4. I love your rainbow blanket! And the tin can cover is awesome! I've been wanting to make some of them too. I've not done any tunisian yet, but want to one day. I love the pink you chose for it. Anxious to see what you make first with it :)

  5. Everything looks beautiful. I haven't tried doing the tin covers yet but it's in the list. I have sort of tried Tunisian crochet but not really enough to get the feel for it. Your sample looks great. Keep us updated on your progress.
