Hello!
I'm not a fan of January, it's far to dull for my liking.
Time to brighten it up a bit!
Dawn this morning was beautiful.
Very cold
but very pretty!
The main part of my new blanket is done.
I still need to sew in the loose ends, and I'd like to add a border. I think the border will change it from a large crochet square into a blanket.
I made the little fiddly flowers to go with this blanket
I was thinking they would look nice all the way around the edge.
P thinks it might be too much!
I'm not sure, I really love the idea of a blanket surrounded by flowers!
Till next time!

YOU CAN FIND THE PATTERN HERE
I think the flowers would look really nice (but would take ages!!) what pattern did you use if you on't mind me asking. I love how the leaves are behind them.

ReplyDeleteI love your blanket, it is so happy. Can I ask where you found the pattern for this, or is it your own? It is so unusual, I would love to ,ake myself one.
ReplyDeleteI love your colors! Oh this blanket looks SOOO cozy wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteWhat yarn are you using? Is it an acrylic?
PS - looks like a variation on a shell stitch. Sort of like this:

I wouldn't put the flowers as a border, but rather randomly placed on the blanket.
