Granny Ripple Ta-dah!

Hello!
I have finished my Granny ripple YAY!!!!!

It's the biggest thing I have made so far. In case you are interested it measures 5ft 2" long by 4ft 6" wide, and is made from Stylecraft, and a no.4 hook.

I'm not sure where it's going to live yet (same as me ha!ha!)

I don't think it's quite right on the sofa.

So it'll probably live on the bed.

That is providing I can claim it back from it's new owner.

Now I'm suffering from E.H.S. (empty hook syndrome!) I guess I could finish off my hexagon blanket.

Till next time.

  1. What a fabulous Granny ripple ~ I love the way it is a ziggy zaggy and the colours all work really well together. Is it your own made up pattern or do you have a link to the pattern you used? Jackie :O)x

  3. You know I aDORe the Granny Ripple. It's one of my favorite patterns. I totally get the feeling of empty hook every time I finish one of my blankets. You will find something to move on to next, just keep us all posted.

  9. Oh that's just beautiful!
Seeing it has given me some much needed inspiration to keep plodding on with my ripple afghan.
Mine is going to be about the size of yours but I'm currently only halfway.
I'd love to know what you did to edge the sides of your blanket.
I'm pretty much a beginner but can see that mine needs something. I'm just not sure how to go about it.

  10. It looks so lovely! I haven't had the courage to try this pattern as it looks more complicated than the usual ripple but the end results are really worth it. If you don't know what to do next come and join us on our flower bed crochet along!

  17. Beautiful - I love the colours. I've heard a lot of good things about Stylecraft wool so I might try that as I haven't used it before.
