Hello!
On the first of December, I had my first trip to London! I loved it, all the noise, smells, people. I'm certain i couldn't live there, I'd miss the countryside and the sea far to much!
We started in hyde park in the winter wonderland.
I don't think the temperature managed to get above freezing all day!
Next we moved on to Bigben and the houses of parliament.
I can't describe how excited and happy to REALLY see Bigben. I get very over excited about seeing things that I have seen on the T.V. in real life!!!!!
Trafalgar square and Nelsons column.
I nearly forgot to mention the Tube! I totally totally loved the tube!
Next we went to Harrods. No photos of this because I hated it!!!!!! It was the thing I was most looking forward to as well! Do you know what? Even if I won the lottery or was left lots of ££££££ from a rich relative I didn't know about, I would not spend a single penny in there! NASTY!!!
Off to visit the Queens house!
I would love to go again soon, as there are soooooo many thing I would like to see!
I'll leave you with a few more pics!
Till next time

P.S. Does anyone know why I can't have paragraphs? All my writing is bunched up and doesn't look very nice, plus it's difficult to read! Any advise will be gratefully received!!!

Granny is growing!
Hello!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not going to go into any details as to why I have been away so long, It's just been a dark time for me.
Moving on to nice things!!!!!!
My granny square is growing
The last photo isn't the best! I took it a moment ago and it's cloudy, with NO snow!
I know in a previous post I stated my dislike for snow, but I have changed my mind!!!
I would love a little bit, just enough to look like everything is covered in icing sugar! pretty!!
back to granny square, I have 2 more rows of colour to do, then it's on to the boarder. I have an idea for the boarder, that i think will look pretty. when it is completed I'll answer the questions that have been asked!!
I'll be posting again later today or tomorrow, as I had an adventure to london. i really want to share the photos with you.
Till next time

Giant Granny Square
Hello, long time no see! (waves!)
Only a quicky post today!
I've been going through a bit of a crochet dry spell. Thankfully that has passed, and I'm feeling far more creative!
For a long time now I have wanted to make a giant granny square, but every single time I do, the middle starts to twist. By the time I'm on round 12 or so it's ruined. I think i have cracked it now!
If I fold it, it's still a square!
I'm quite pleased with how its turning out. Although it's looking a little boring! I have a few ideas to spice it up a little!
Till next time!

P.S. I nearly forgot to say, I'm back at work after lots of years off, hence the humongous gap since I last popped by!

Pretty Pretty Pretty!
Hello!
An especially big hello to the newest followers! Also a HUGE thank you for all of the resent comments!
I have a lot to show you all, so this is going to be quite a photo heavy post.
This is the edging of my newest blanket. I've used a slightly more subtle colour pallet.

I really want to make a pompom this size! a future project perhaps?
i didn't realise how crinkled the bed was until i saw how the photos came out.
I really have fallen in love with this blanket. it's very light and I love the colours.
I have written the pattern down but still haven't gotten around to wording so that others can read it!
I have also made some more bunting (one of my most favourite things!)
Do you recognise those flowers? They still haven't made it as far as the flower blanket!!!!
before blocking.
During blocking.
I use a little spray starch to keep them nice and flat.
I know you are 'supposed' to let them dry naturally ,but I rarely have the patience to do that. I cheat and normally use my hair drier! This time I let them dry over night.
I added the little rainbow beads I got from Ebay. and added some tassels!
Yay!! Very pretty bunting. (subtlety not included!)
I hope you like!!! Till next time
