Brightening up January

Hello!
I'm not a fan of January, it's far to dull for my liking.
Time to brighten it up a bit!
Dawn this morning was beautiful.
Very cold
but very pretty!

The main part of my new blanket is done.
I still need to sew in the loose ends, and I'd like to add a border. I think the border will change it from a large crochet square into a blanket.

I made the little fiddly flowers to go with this blanket

I was thinking they would look nice all the way around the edge.

P thinks it might be too much!
I'm not sure, I really love the idea of a blanket surrounded by flowers!

Till next time!

  21. I love your colors! Oh this blanket looks SOOO cozy wonderful!!

What yarn are you using? Is it an acrylic?

PS - looks like a variation on a shell stitch. Sort of like this:

Wanted to say - I've been searching all over for a matching pattern as this blanket is simply to die for. I've had no luck. I think it's a variation of a shell stitch. Could you share the pattern?? Pretty please?
