Time

Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So much time has passed since my last blog post I have found it really hard to start again. Every time I try to write something interrupts! Phone calls, visitors, you know how it is!

Firstly then a little bit of housekeeping. Thank you for all of the comments that have been left, I have tried to answer all questions that have been asked, if I have missed anyone I'm really super sorry, just email me and I'll get to you!!! Also welcome to all the new followers!

So what's been occurring these past weeks? It's quite a list!

Reconciliation. My sister an I hadn't spoken in nearly a year, (no details on that sorry!) so there has been lots of tears, hugs, and a whole heap of gossip to catch up on!!

A car crash. again no details, but everyone is is fine.

Gardening. A huge amount of time has been taken up with gardening. It's looking very pretty, but there's still loads to do.

P&J. They have both been on holiday from work and school, no a chance of blogging whilst they are home!!!

A trip to Cornwall. We drove down to Cornwall to visit Ps parents. It's a very scenic place and the people are nice, but I just don't like it there! I have no idea why. Sorry to any readers who happen to live there, I guess you can't like everywhere!!!

A broken laptop. We're now using the 'big' computer that is normally in Ps workshop. (I call it the shed!)

It's a noisy and slow old beast, but at least it does the job. before it was brought into the house, there were 3 days of no internet YIKES!. I think I'm a little too addicted!!!

 Driving. I have started to take driving lessons after a break of 2 1/2 years. I get so nervous and worked up before each one I can barely breath! I hope that as time passes I calm down. I also passed my theory test. Woo-Hoo!

Finally crochet. I've started a new hexagon blanket. I'm not sure how big it's going to be yet, although size really isn't going to matter too much because it's for decoration instead of snuggling!

That's about it for now, there have been other odds and sods but I'll leave those for another day!

Hello again!!!

Hellooooooooooo!

Oh my goodness it has been a long time hasn't it?

Where to start? 

Firstly, thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my last post. I did pop in every now and again to have a peek, time would not allow me to stay long enough to blog.

The last 3 weeks have been busy, as you can well imagine! We had to spend a week going backwards and forwards between houses in order to clean the old one ready for the hand back. All I really wanted to do was unpack and pretty up the new one!

I think it is safe to say that we are settled now though.

I desperately wanted to show you my toilet!! ( when you see you'll understand!)

My Craft room is still a work in progress at the moment.

It gets the afternoon sun (not today though, grey and miserable)

I have made a few little bits.

Some new flowers

and the start of a new cushion cover.

The biggest thing I have been doing is gardening. I have weeded my socks off!!

I forgot to take before and after photos, I'll try to remember when I do the front!

These two little green houses contain tons of flowers! I spent hours pricking out seedlings. Fingers crossed they'll all grow big and strong!!

I shall try to get back into a blogging routine. I have noticed this post is a little all over the place! Sorry about that!!

Crochet flower bunting / triangles (PATTERN)

Hello!

I can't quite believe that we only have 2 days left till we move! I can't for the life of me work out where that time has gone.

Today I have hardly anything to do. Almost all of the rubbish and junk have gone, and I have run out of boxes until P comes home from work with some.

That means I've had plenty of time to write out and photograph the pattern for Crochet flower bunting!!

It's all written in UK terms.

UK tr = USA dc

UK htr = USA hdc.

ch 3 and join to form a ring with a sl st.

 Round 1. Ch 4 ( counts as 1tr 1ch )

1tr 1ch 11 times into ring.

Fasten off.

Round 2.

Working between the spokes.

Join new yarn to any space.

ch3 (counts as 1tr) 2tr, 3ch, 3tr in same space.

1tr in each of the next 3 spaces.

( 3tr, 3ch, 3tr) in next space.

1 tr in each of the next 3 spaces

( 3tr, 3ch, 3tr ) in next space.

1 tr in each of the last 3 spaces. Join to 3rd of beginning 3ch.

Fasten off.

Round 3.

Working between the stitches.

Work (3tr, 3ch, 3tr) in the 3ch corner spaces and 8 tr along the sides.

Fasten off.

Round 4.

Still working out of the spaces between the stitches.

(3tr, 3ch, 3tr) in each 3 ch corner space.

13 tr along the sides.

Fasten off.

Working out of the stitches now.

Join new yarn.

1htr in each st along the sides.(19 htr)

(2htr, 1tr, 2htr) for the corners.

Fasten off.

To add flower.

You will be working out of the spokes from round 1.

Join new yarn to any spoke.

*ch1, skip 1 spoke, slst into next spoke*

rep from *to* 6 times.

Join to first st.

Do not fasten off.

In each 1ch space, work (6tr, slst)

6 petals.

Fasten off.

As per usual any mistakes please let me know and I'll amend!

Well I guess that is my last blog post from this house (::sniff::), the next will be from the new one!!!!!

More crochet bunting / triangles

Hello!!

As you know I'm a big fan of bunting. What I the love most, is that serves to other purpose other than to look pretty! Yep, when you think about it, it really is useless! Yay!

I've made up a new pattern for bunting. So without further ado, let me introduce.

Pretty flowery bunting.

I have written the pattern out and will share it with you soon. As I'm sure you'll understand, I don't have a lot of time to spare at the moment! Most of my pretty things are in boxes now, and the house is developing that echo of emptiness. Anyhow once the move is done and we've unpacked, I'll start on those other patterns I promised you ages ago too!
